As a Financial Data Analyst – VBC, you’ll play a key role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This highly visible position partners closely with actuarial, accounting, and medical economics teams, as well as individual state health plans across Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace lines of business. You’ll contribute to the development and refinement of VBC models and the processes that support them—making a measurable impact on healthcare outcomes nationwide.

• Lead financial projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including medical economics and upstream data partners.
• Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual provider reports, along with supplemental data, to support contract performance.
• Design and automate processes, including dashboards, to enhance visibility and efficiency of value-based care (VBC) operations.
• Develop and refine metrics to evaluate pricing strategies and assess the financial impact of proposed contracts and medical management initiatives.
• Create tools to track, trend, and forecast the outcomes of strategic organizational initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging developments in the competitive healthcare landscape.
• Support cost-effective service utilization through data-driven insights.
• Build and maintain reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct complex, high-level financial and data analyses.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of financial or data analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Data Analysis, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred

Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and a strong understanding of data and database concepts.

Experience in insurance or managed care finance.

Familiarity with value-based contracts, provider network contracting, or contract support.

Experience with tools and technologies such as Snowflake, Power BI, Azure, and/or Python.
