As a Data Operations Specialist you will engage in advanced data processing and maintenance within the respective business area or domain by supporting complex data handling requirements, including data integration, validation, and reporting, ensuring data quality and compliance with organisational standards.
Provide expertise in troubleshooting and addressing data issues, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

​Are you someone who can:

• Execute and monitor complex data  extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring data quality and timely completion.
• Perform in-depth data validation, analysing discrepancies and coordinating with stakeholders for resolution.
• Support data reconciliation processes across multiple data sources, identifying and correcting errors.
• Develop and execute quality control measures for data governance and reporting.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide accurate data support.
• Generate custom reports, ensuring data is correctly aggregated and fit for purpose.
• Contribute to the testing and validation of new data systems, enhancements, and process changes.
• Support data migration projects by validating data accuracy and addressing migration errors.
• Create and maintain automated scripts for recurring data tasks, improving efficiency.
• Analyse and resolve complex data quality issues impacting business applications or reporting.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for data workflows.
• Conduct impact analysis of system or process changes on data quality and processes.
• Monitor daily data feeds and interfaces, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Ensure all data management processes comply with regulatory and organisational standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processes and accuracy.
• Promote innovation within data operations through process automation and optimisation.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to meet data needs and resolve issues.
• Adhere to best practices for data governance and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Participate in professional development activities to advance data operations knowledge.
• Contribute to a team culture that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• Previous experience with a similar role in Data Operations
• Knowledge of Client onboarding
• Experience within Corporate and Investment Banking
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level.
• SQL, data integration experience, proficiency in data validation techniques, intermediate data visualisation skills.
