Job Title: Business Intelligence Consultant, ADA
A little bit about our team:
ADA is the world’s leading distributor of independent music. We strive to be a valuable partner to our label clients, guiding them to success across the commercial and marketing space, as well as providing a suite of label services from publicity to radio promotion. We work globally to deliver high-impact opportunities, and work to ensure reliable and visible content pipelines around the world.
As ADA’s Business Intelligence consultant, you would be instrumental in aiding teams build out reusable models, reporting, and analysis in various parts of the business. You will work closely with finance and A&R teams to create reusable tools to enhance the intelligence and speed of our deals. You will also work with the business operations team to supplement report and analysis creation.
Your role:
This is a global role that will sit within the central team but work across multiple verticals to solve problems and bring value. You will work with a dynamic and growing team looking for ways to move faster and smarter. You will work to translate how music consumption patterns relate to revenue, create and track meaningful operational metrics, and more.
Here you’ll get to:
Work with the executive and commercial teams to provide supplemental insights and analyses that provide recommendations to our clients and internal teams
Work with finance and business development teams to create revenue & consumption modeling tools for teams around the world to evaluate potential new music deals
Work with our operations teams to investigate data issues
Liaise with the data science and analytics team to take advantage of advanced data modeling and workflows
Solicit feedback and synthesize requirements to accurately prioritize requests and provide timely deliverables to business users
About you:
You have at least 4+ years of data analysis and data science experience with a focus on creating usable and creative models and tools.
You have experience working with Airtable and deploying downstream integrations.
You are comfortable working independently, scraping data sets and translating qualitative feedback from teams into a useful and functional set of data tools.
You have demonstrably strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability; portfolio of relevant work appreciated.
You are a SQL expert, able to combine data sets from multiple sources, Python or R proficiency strongly preferred. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks).
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow) for predictive modeling.
Experience with API integration and development.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.
Familiarity with music industry data sources and metrics (e.g., streaming platforms, chart data).
You enjoy being an independent operator who can employ critical thinking and problem solving, but knows how to use the resources at their disposal to get the job done.
We’d love it if you also had:
A passion for music, with a working knowledge of the current consumption landscape.
Experience working in the music distribution space.
Experience with dashboarding, BI tools, and data visualization a plus (Tableau, Power BI).

Salary RangeFixed Rate: $50.48Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs.
