Job Overview

The EDI Data Coordinator is responsible for various aspects related to the receipt, transmission, translation, and maintenance of electronic and non-electronic claim data. Evaluates rejects created during the claim in-load and encounter submission processes. The Data Coordinator researches claims, rejects, and makes corrections per departmental policies. Provides support for researching, analyzing, and correcting previously submitted and rejected encounters. Identifies common errors or rejects so they can be resolved at the source. The position is also responsible for developing and maintaining monthly departmental reports around the claim and encounter processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with claims data, either claims processing or Healthcare Software System experience

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Access and SQL preferred

  • Previous experience with FTP client(s) preferred

Compensation

$25.00 - $29.32 hourly
