Position Specific Description

Employees in this position will perform as individual contributors in the performance of data analyses, supply chain operations analyses, financial forecasting, operations forecasting, business / operational risk assessments, decision modeling, financial modeling, and optimization analyses. The analyst will contribute to team projects through developing techniques, tools, algorithms, strategies, and processes to perform the above tasking. 

• Collaborates on tasking and projects with NEE financial, budgeting, and forecasting departments
• Provides prourement analytics, operational assessment, and risk analysis services to ISC business unit partners, other departments, and internal ISC procurement teams and agents
• Supports ISC agents with analyses and assessments to optimize negotiation and procurement activities and operations
• Ensures that models, analytical tools, simulations, and data engines are maintained, current, and accurate with respect to ISC and external partner data
• Collaborates with team leadership on analytics innovations and the development of advanced analytics and risk assessment methods and tools
• Contributes thought leadership leveraging modern and leading-edge analytics, algorithms, forecasting, and modeling approaches, technologies, and research to mature ISC analytics and risk assessment capabilities
• Develops and delivers presentations for supervisors and analysis stakeholders
• Collaborates with ISC IT, data team, governance teams, and leadership to maintain and provide quality assurance of ISC data, digital tools, and business processes
• Develops, drafts, prepares, and maintains specified ISC reporting, assessment deliverables, and analytics dashboard output
• Experience working in analytics, data science, or engineering teams
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Uses knowledge of business processes to identify interdependencies and functional gaps
• Builds strong working understanding of the technical solution being delivered and analyzes and determines failure points in the solution
• Contributes to the application testing process (directly or to support end users)
• Creates and updates documentation, as appropriate, for selected project framework
• Maintains a familiarity with market trends in technology
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 2+ years
