The Shock, organ dysfunction and resuscitation group is a multidisciplinary research team with different lines of research about the critically ill patient. VHIR offers vacancy/vacant position for an administrative within the Intensive Care Unit. Education and qualifications:
Required:- Bachelor’s Degree in informatics, Data Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
- A Master’s or PhD in Data Science or related disciplines will be considered a plus.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level).
Experience and knowledge:
Required:- At least 1 year of experience working in health research data science and clinical data.
- Experience working with biomedical device data or clinical system data (e.g., HL7, FHIR, hospital databases) is highly valued.
- Experienced with SAP or management program.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools for statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Seaborn, Matplotlib)
- Familiarity with clustering algorithms, anomaly detection, and time series analysis is an asset.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Design and develop data processing pipelines from infusion pump systems and clinical sources.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to detect correlations between alarms, infusion interruptions, and clinical events.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to contextualize data findings and support decision-making.
- Generate reports and data visualizations to inform clinical practice and technological improvements.
- Contribute to scientific publications and dissemination of results.
Labour conditions:
- Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 11.411,61€ euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
