• Research, design, develop, build and test operating systems-level software for Next Generation Augmented Reality Devices.
• Work on problems of moderate scope.
• Push code, drive development of systems behind products, build new features and improve existing services for AR Systems and Operating Systems, and be part of team to connect people around globe.
• Develop strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, or systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming and software engineering.
• Produce high quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks.
• Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments, work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem solving skills.
• Master internal development standards from developing to releasing code to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity.
• Actively seek and give feedback in alignment with company Performance Philosophy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in the following:
• 1. Coding in: C, C++, C#, Python, or Java
• 2. Machine Learning and AI
• 3. Relational databases and SQL
• 4. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
• 5. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS including file manipulation and simple commands
• 6. AR related experiences such as computer vision
• 7. Algorithms and data structures.
