Technologies we use
Our stack to support data-driven decision-making across the organization is:

• Amazon Redshift as our central data warehouse
• Tableau as our primary tool for reporting and dashboards
• Metabase for self-service analytics
• SQL for data manipulation, transformation and data marts creation
• Python for statistical modelling, parts of our ETL and data wrangling
• Databricks to develop, schedule and orchestrate models and analyses

How will you contribute to Skroutz vision

We are looking for B.I. Analysts to support our Business Intelligence team. Ideal candidates have a combination of solid technical and analytical skills and the ability to develop a deep understanding of Skroutz business and data. As members of this team, you will work on some of our most challenging problems alongside various teams.

What you will be doing

• Support and optimize business decisions by using data analytics, data visualization, and data modeling techniques to identify trends that inform and guide departments, managers, and executives.
• Apply existing and implement new data analysis methodologies to address evolving business needs.
• Enrich our Data Marts and make the data available through various reporting platforms (Tableau, Metabase, Google Sheets, internal tools).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and monitor KPIs and metrics.
• Consult and facilitate internal customers on analysis and inference.
• Derive meaningful and relevant conclusions and communicate analyses to internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate agility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

Requirements

Your Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of work experience, preferably in a similar role
• Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Economics, Business, or equivalent
• Εxcellent knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with BI reporting technologies (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
• Experience with managing data (any combination of data architecture, data quality, metadata management, ETL, analytics, reporting)
• Experience with Python, R or similar programming language
• Strong communication, alignment, and collaboration skills
• Ability to deep-dive into complex problems and come back with clear insights
• Humble, eager to learn and share, willing to roll-up sleeves when necessary

We will appreciate if you have

• Applied experience in any of the following will be a plus: Business Analysis, Data Fusion, Operations, Statistical analysis and modelling and other technical and customer-facing roles
• Familiarity with any of the following technologies will be a plus: Git, Tableau, Ruby, APIs
