PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the design and development of Finance and Business Operational Analytics processes. The core requirements include developing, deploying and maintaining data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making for business leaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in BI tools and a deep understanding of data governance, security and compliance within the healthcare sector.
THIS POSITION IS HYRBID. Weekly Requirement- 3 Days In Office
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the design, development and deployment of BI solutions.
Establishes and enforces data warehousing standards to support operational reporting and research.
Manage design for reports, interfaces and functional dashboards based on business.
Assist with the changing of existing data warehouse and data mart models or development of new models to support new or expanded data content.
Work with the business and clinicians, IT staff and team members to understand business processes and use this knowledge to translate into a design and requirements, and the development and implementation of solutions.
Gather data from various systems, including the EHR & financial systems.
Determine report strategy, participate on team to select tools and techniques, including data cleansing tools, data naming standards and/or data management systems to provide the solution to data and issues or other matters of significance to meet the defined business needs.
Develop reports/dashboards and train others on the use of specific analytics platforms (Tableau, Power-BI etc.)
Develop dashboards and scorecards using advanced visualization techniques and data capabilities such as embedding analytics in clinical and business process tools or designing dashboards tailored to strategic goals.
Brainstorm broad concepts and ideas for various reporting designs, both individually and with the team, and translate them into actionable, tangible objectives.
Build and maintain effective relationships to provide a climate receptive to systems improvement and to enhance understanding of the business concerns and needs. Participate on project teams, assisting to leverage the enterprise data warehouse and data sources.
Develop solutions to address data quality issues.
Estimate time and cost to develop reports and other data related solutions.
Analyze data to identify patterns & insights and recommend improvement in processes and procedures.
Maintain and develop knowledge of the various subject areas and the sources of information contained in the subject areas
DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Information Technology with a minimum of three years’ experience in Data Warehousing.
Experience with RDBMS tools and working with clinical databases preferred.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Experience working in a matrixed, highly complex organization preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in data warehouse tools and technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Analysis Services, MS-Fabric and snowflake
Knowledge and experience with information processing principles and practices including testing and source control.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for BI and Data Warehousing.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power-BI, SAS and Minitab.
An excellent understanding of relational databases is required.
Demonstrated use of ETL tools.
