Company Description

Focus of the Role 

Global Service Center Media Measurement (GSC MM) is an operations department located in Sofia – a global centralized Hub working closely with all Media Measurement local and global teams, including Technology and Commercial. The department provides wide range of services, including data and systems quality control, panel helpdesk, data processing and delivery, data analytics, data science and automation. 

 

The Expert Data Production (NL) is responsible for technical and functional application management of (web based/batch) applications including communication to (internal) customers, and team members about changes in applications and processes. He or she is also monitoring the quality of automated data production and data delivery, executing data production and delivery when necessary. 

  

Key Activities 

  • Maintenance and further development of the process and system documentation for an complex IT system collecting, producing and preparing media usage data  

  • Confidential handling of information of the research results considering the privacy legislation and contractual agreements with the customers 

  • Monitoring and actively improving the efficiency in manual and automated processes 

  • Documenting and managing the administrative and logistical processes of the tasks and keeping them up to date 

  • Support (internal) customers in their need for information by (facilitating) data analysis 

  • Helpdesk activities for applications supported by the team 

  • Translate (internal) customer requests to requirements for development departments 

  • Managing of applications and their configuration files 

  • Testing of applications delivered/changed by the development departments based on the requirements 

  • Taking initiatives that can lead to improvements or innovations  

 

Required skills and knowledge  

  • Excellent database knowledge and strong proficiency in SQL scripting 

  • Proficiency in some automation programming language, e.g. Python 

  • Experience with automation tools like Crontab 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail 

  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, including cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure) 

  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders 

  • Basic knowledge of actual and common application architecture standards 

  • Very good knowledge of Office products 

  • Proficiency in English language 

 

Typical Education and Work Experience required  

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience 

  • University (Bachelor or Master) degree
