The Data Quality Executive position responsible for maintaining the accuracy and detail of Cision’s global media database through productive research. The primarily focus of this position is on the US market, but with a need to assist globally when required. This role is for an experienced researcher who understands the US media landscape in detail and who stay abreast of media changes in the region, while working autonomously on big projects to improve database quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Researches and verifies media data, and updates the database accordingly, with a particular emphasis on major US outlets and/or senior journalists.
• Undertakes special clean-up projects focused on improving data quality.
• Builds relationships with major US newsrooms to facilitate the above two goals.
• Maintains a high level of awareness about media industry news in the US, to ensure the database is kept up to date in a timely fashion.
• Manages admin and communication responsibilities efficiently.

Minimum Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in related fields.
• At least three years’ experience working in media research or the broader media/PR industry.
• Previous media or PR industry experience, OR research experience.
• Excellent Computer (MS office) skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Physical Requirements
• Job requires employees to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area
