What you will do
You will become a trusted advisor working closely with our clients, from data owners and analytic users to C-level executives to shape their Data, Analytics and AI transformation agendas. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation, driving value through enterprise data strategies, AI enablement, data product development, and monetization initiatives. You will assess the current state of clients’ data landscapes, AI readiness, and analytics maturity through structured stakeholder interviews, workshops, and diagnostic frameworks. Based on this, you will determine business needs and desired future state capabilities or products and quantify expected value and business impact. You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders and our Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to define target state architectures, use cases, operating models, governance, and strategic roadmaps that turn data into scalable, monetizable assets or analytics & AI solutions for the business. Additionally, you will contribute to practice offerings and assets around topics such as Enterprise Data Strategy, AI Strategy, and Data Product & Monetization Strategy.

We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, problem solver, team-player, and can be a trusted advisor to our clients. You can translate complex data and analytics needs into plain English for our clients and provide the business context for our Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts so they can provide solutions that truly align with business objectives and deliver real value. You are a driven self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, can strategically address problems, operate independently, but also escalate and ask for guidance appropriately. You are interested in constantly learning, proactively developing expertise based on best practices and industry trends and understanding the latest developments with AI & data applications. You are passionate about contributing to Analytics strategy offerings and strategic asset development. An Analytics Strategy Consultant will also be expected to be able to completely own and manage all strategy deliverables for a client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Enterprise Data & AI strategies, aligned to business objectives and designed to scale across the organization.
- Define, design, and operationalize data products by identifying high-value data use cases, customer needs, and internal efficiencies.
- Develop data monetization strategies, including internal value creation (e.g., operational efficiency, personalization) and external revenue models (e.g., data-as-a-service, API products).
- Evaluate current-state analytics and AI maturity across people, process, technology, and data; identify gaps and develop actionable roadmaps.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML teams to define AI use cases, prioritize roadmaps, and design strategic AI frameworks to deliver AI at scale
- Design modern data governance models that support Analytics & AI enablement, regulatory compliance, and trusted data consumption.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to define future-state data architectures, data pipelines, MLOps frameworks, and product lifecycle workflows.
- Define value proposition and track KPIs to measure business impact of data products and AI solutions.
- Lead stakeholder alignment workshops, executive briefings, and change management initiatives to ensure adoption of strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in a quantitative field or Master’s degree in Business
- Strong communication skills (oral, verbal, and listening) with ability to influence key decision-makers
- 2-4 years of data strategy experience
- 1-3 years in client-facing advisory roles, ideally within top-tier consulting firms or innovation-driven companies
- Experience developing Analytics and Data Strategy deliverables (e.g. Operating model design, Use Case Definition, Strategic Roadmap Creation, Self Service Analytics Strategy, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools: Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP, dbt, coalesce, Dataiku, Alteryx, Sigma, Alation, Tableau, Power BI
- Working Knowledge AI/ML concepts, and AI/ML frameworks, RPA, and MLOps
- Knowledgeable on data product management principles, including product lifecycle management, data service design, and go-to-market strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrable experience in outlining business cases or value driven strategic recommendations
- Experience in being a part of or applying structured organizational change management approaches across all facets of analytics-related change preferred
