Job Description

The Data Analyst will work within Customer Engagement Analytics team in Spain, to provide technical expertise in Advance/Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics. The key responsibilities of the role will be to contribute to AbbVie Data Analytics projects and support Data Science projects. Should be highly analytical with love and high affinity for analysis, mathematics and statistics. Additionally, not only should be familiar with quantitative methodologies and programming but also keen on business acumen. The Data Analyst should have passion for data analysis, data quality and accuracy, data exploration, machine learning and out of the box thinking.

 

Key responsibilities:

Serve as a relevant member of Customer Engagement Analytics, working in close partnership with the rest of team member and Global Winning with Data team to implement global and local initiatives in the affiliate, becoming a trusted partner of the CEx local team.

Develop in collaboration with the commercial teams and other CEx teams, advanced analytics, identify synergies, optimize reporting strategy to generate business relevant outcomes.

Master in different Foundry datasets of varying complexity and size levels and develop new ways to generate creative predictive analytic solutions to work around data limitations.

Identify best practices and extend them to the rest of the organization in terms of repoting & analytics, Proactively identify new analytical approaches that would improve our ability to answer key business questions, by closely collaborating with key business partners to transform key business questions to insights.

Work with business stakeholders to define key business questions, requirements, timelines, objectives and success factors for winning with data initiatives.

Qualifications

BS degree in mathematics, statistics or engineering, computer science or economics complemented with a master in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Science or equivalent.

Portfolio of work demonstrating data science applications.

Minimum of 2 years of applied data science in fields such as data engineering, predictive modelling,

Experience developing and executing data analytica to address key business questions with positive and measurable outcomes.

Experience analyzing and drawing insights from key internally and externally generated data sets.

 

Essential skills:

Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen and creative problem solving.

Ability to interact effectively with/present to (verbally or written) to all levels of the organization.

Ability to be agile and nimble changing business conditions, strong collaborative relationships, teamwork across different functions and teams to contribute to productive culture.

Lead strategically and create trust within the team.
