About Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Staff Engineer in Applied AI/ML to lead the design and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions. This role requires over 10 years of experience in AI/ML and a proven ability to tackle complex challenges at scale. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that align with business objectives.

What you will do:

• Lead the end-to-end development of AI/ML models, from concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Design and improve MLOps pipelines for robust model deployment and monitoring.
• Drive research and experimentation to identify the best AI/ML approaches for various challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions comply with governance and ethical standards, mitigating bias and ensuring fairness.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, advising the organization on emerging tools, techniques, and opportunities.
• Document technical processes and share expertise to promote a knowledge-sharing culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields; a Ph.D. is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong track record of deploying scalable models in production.
• Deep knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques, including deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
• Expertise in programming languages (Python, Java, or C++) and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong familiarity with data governance and ethical AI principles.
• Proven leadership experience with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate and influence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
