We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join a Data Retention, Compliance and Management Program, acting as the key liaison between business areas and Technology teams. The role focuses on analyzing the integration of current systems and data flows, to enable the implementation of data retention policies and data lineage initiatives.

You will be instrumental in mapping data flows, assessing system capabilities, and contributing to the development of custom technical solutions to enforce data lifecycle policies. This role requires both strong technical acumen and a solid understanding of compliance and privacy requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Map end-to-end data flows and data lineage for critical and high-risk applications, especially those managed by third parties.

  • Collaborate with Data Lifecycle Engineering to identify and define system-level enforcement points for data retention.

  • Evaluate systems to determine whether automated or manual data deletion is feasible and recommend implementation paths.

  • Support the development of custom integrations with platforms like DataHub to track and enforce retention rules.

  • Work closely with InfoSec Operations, People, Platform, Finance, Marketing, and Legal teams to identify and document technical risks in third-party data systems.

  • Contribute to technical documentation that supports internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting.

  • Ensure alignment with security, privacy, and compliance requirements such as GDPR, DPA, and internal data policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar technical role. SQL - Strong Plus 
  • Knowledge of ETL tools, REST APIs, and data integration best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).

  • Understanding of data lifecycle management, data privacy regulations (GDPR, DPA, etc.), and Master Service Agreements or 3rd Party Data Contracts.

  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks in enterprise environments.

  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Cloud platforms: GCP, AWS
