Summary 

Our SAP Master Data Management unit is a strategic development entity within BDC&I PTX, delivering state-of-the-art enterprise master data management solutions. 

Our newly formed development team, part of a bigger international organization, is seeking a talented and experienced Development Architect Expert to join us in building components of our next-generation system. 

You will act as the team's architect, ensuring the solution aligns with the broader system architecture, adheres to best practices, and meets the high-performance, scalability, and security demands of the product. 

What you'll do 

As the development architect expert, you will be instrumental in designing, defining, and overseeing the implementation of new features responsible for Master Data Management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor and guide engineers, and drive innovation to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. 

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, with 7+ years of relevant professional experience. 
• Good experience in the design, development, and delivery of cloud software at scale 
• You bring strong knowledge of containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native architecture, and API 
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such (e.g. TypeScript, Python) and related frameworks. 
• Passion & ambition for future-proof architecture design 
• Curiosity and willingness to quickly learn new technologies, concepts and tools 
• Take an independent, structured, and result-oriented way of working 
• Good interpersonal skills and fluency in English: collaboration in an international environment will be a regular part of your job 

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to a Scrum or Agile development environment 
• Practical experience with tools like Visual Studio Code, Git, Visio, Jira, oData, REST, SAP UI5, CDS View 
• Experience with Business Technology Platform (BTP), Business Data Cloud (BDC), Master Data Governance (MDG), ABAP-environment
