What does 'Expert Cloud Architect - Core Banking & AI/ML' do?

We are seeking a Cloud Architect – Core Banking & AI/ML to design and implement next-generation banking solutions leveraging Private Cloud, Oracle OC3 & PCA, OpenShift, and AI/ML-driven automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-native banking architectures, secure and scalable core banking infrastructure, and AI/ML-driven financial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Core Banking Solutions

• Design, implement, and optimize core banking platforms using Oracle OC3 & PCA, Red Hat OpenShift, and Private Cloud.
• Develop cloud-native, API-driven, and modular banking architectures for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Lead migration and modernization of legacy banking applications to private cloud environments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR) and industry best practices.
• Architect secure multi-tenant cloud environments for banking and financial services.
• Work with financial institutions to enable Open Banking and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) models.

AI/ML & Data-Driven Banking Innovations

• Design AI/ML models for fraud detection, credit risk analysis, and personalized banking experiences.
• Integrate predictive analytics for financial forecasting and customer behavior insights.
• Implement chatbots, NLP-driven customer interactions, and AI-powered automation for banking workflows.
• Ensure seamless AI/ML model deployment and integration within core banking platforms and private cloud infrastructure.

Cloud & Infrastructure Automation

• Architect and manage containerized banking applications using Cloud Platforms, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments (Terraform, Ansible).
• Design and optimize cloud networking, security, and identity management in private cloud and Oracle OC3 environments.
• Enable high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP) strategies.

Product Development & Revenue Growth

• Drive the end-to-end development of cloud-based banking and AI/ML products.
• Identify market opportunities and develop commercially viable financial solutions.
• Define product roadmaps, features, and go-to-market strategies for banking cloud solutions.
• Work with sales and business teams to create revenue-generating cloud and AI products.
• Develop strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, and financial institutions to increase adoption.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, or Banking Technology.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, core banking systems, and AI/ML applications.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of Core Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos, Oracle Flexcube etc).
• Expertise in Private Cloud, Oracle OC3 & PCA, and OpenShift.
• Experience in Cloud-Native Banking Architectures (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Serverless).
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch etc).
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java and API development.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps).
• Familiarity with blockchain-based banking solutions (optional but a plus).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to translate banking requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
