Role Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Science Analyst with hands-on experience delivering MMM projects end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who has built, calibrated, and interpreted marketing mix models to drive real-world business decisions—ideally across both upper- and lower-funnel channels. You’ll be part of a team responsible for quantifying marketing effectiveness, guiding investment decisions, and embedding measurement rigor into strategy. Practical experience delivering MMM (not just supporting it) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain MMM models using historical media spend, business outcomes, and external variables to measure marketing impact across the funnel (e.g. awareness, consideration, conversions).
- Lead the end-to-end MMM process: data preparation, feature engineering, model development, diagnostics, calibration (e.g. to experiments), and stakeholder delivery.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify data quality issues, trends, and patterns that inform modeling.
- Translate MMM results into clear, actionable recommendations on media mix, budget allocation, and ROI, working closely with marketing and finance stakeholders.
- Support full-funnel measurement by integrating brand, media, and sales performance data into unified models.
- Work with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms to query and manage large datasets; partner with data engineering where needed.
- Design and deliver automated reports and dashboards that democratize MMM insights across the business.
- Support incrementality testing (e.g. geo lift tests) and triangulate with MMM for more robust decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date on measurement best practices and propose enhancements to existing modeling approaches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of direct experience delivering MMM models in a business environment, preferably full-funnel.
- Hands-on proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and SQL for data extraction.
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of marketing channels (TV, digital, social, etc.) and performance KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and drive decision-making.
- Experience building dashboards or reporting tools using Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Comfortable working with large, messy datasets and performing structured EDA.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience calibrating MMM models with external testing (e.g. geo or audience lift).
- Familiarity with data pipeline workflows and collaborating with data engineers.
- Exposure to brand tracking data and other upper-funnel performance metrics.
- Experience working in a performance marketing, marketing science, or media strategy environment.
Why This Role?
This is a high-impact role that offers the opportunity to drive strategic decisions at scale. You’ll help shape how marketing investments are understood, optimized, and defended—bringing modeling rigor to the front lines of business planning.
What You’ll Get
- Professional Growth: Work with top-tier clients and cutting-edge tools in the performance marketing industry.
- Collaborative Culture: Be part of a global organization that values curiosity, transparency, and innovation.
- Competitive Benefits:
- Competitive salary and comprehensive health benefits.
- Generous PTO, wellness initiatives and parental leave.
- Retirement saving plans.
- Opportunities for continued learning and professional development.
- A supportive, collaborative, and casual work environment.
