The Director of Data Warehouse & Integrations is responsible for managing and directing all activities related to the organization's data warehouse. The role involves creating innovative solutions for connecting data systems to the warehouse, ensuring data integrity, managing ETL processes, overseeing the GCP environment, and developing strategies to improve data management and promote data usage and analytics.

This leader is also a producer who is hands on, works to produce major outputs to enhance our data processes. The role is pivotal in enhancing our Business Intelligence ecosystem, encompassing reporting, analytics, trends, data visualization tools, and the overall BI strategy.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Experience with data integration and data transformation techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing data management strategies.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data management, including data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) especially Big Query.
  • At least 2 years of team management experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., C#, .NET, Javascript, Python)

  • Manage and oversee all activities related to the data warehouse.
  • Create innovative solutions for integrating data systems with the data warehouse. (third party solutions or in-house custom solutions)
  • Ensure the integrity of data within the warehouse and manage ETL processes.
  • Manage the organization's Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
  • Develop strategies to improve data management within the organization.
  • Promote the use of data and analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and ensure they are met.
  • Stay updated on latest industry trends and technologies in data management.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Mentor staff, enhancing their skills and contributions.
  • Responsible for managing direction, execution of our proprietary EOS application. (AWS)
  • Experience with Cognos a plus.
