Your opportunity

Join a collaborative, hands-on data team with a start-up feel, where everyone rolls up their sleeves to solve complex challenges together. As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in transforming messy, raw data into clean, structured, analysis-ready datasets that power impactful decisions across the business. You'll work at the core of our modern data stack — helping uplift our curated data coverage, enabling better, faster insights and decisions. This is your chance to help shape how data is curated and delivered in a purpose-led, customer-focused environment.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines that enable trusted data access
  • Transforming raw data into well-organised, curated datasets using modern tools. Working across SQL, Python, Airflow, DBT and Google Cloud Platform to deliver high-quality data solutions
  • Improving and maintaining data models and warehouse structures for long-term scalability
  • Collaborating with business, data scientists and analysts to understand needs and deliver usable data products
  • Identifying and addressing data quality issues and continuously improving data processes

This role is permanent, full-time, based in the Sydney support office.

What sets you apart

We are looking for a curious and technically strong Analytics Engineer who is passionate about turning raw, messy data into clean, curated datasets that enable better decisions and analytics. You’re hands-on with modern data tools, and you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you can build, optimise, and scale data solutions. You see the bigger picture and are driven to improve data usability across the business — not just for today, but for the long term.

You will be:
Qualified – Degree in Analytics, Information Systems, or Computer/Data Science, with 2+ years of experience in analytics enablement, data transformation, or BI development
Technically experienced – proficient in SQL, Python, Airflow, and Google Cloud Platform, with practical experience using DBT for data transformation and curation
A systems thinker – you understand the full data journey from ingestion to consumption and build for scalability, structure, and sustainability
Commercial – you understand how structured, curated data unlocks insights and drives business value
Collaborative – you work cross-functionally, enabling analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders with reliable, ready-to-use data
Innovative & Agile – you thrive on solving complex problems, modernising legacy processes, and adapting to new tools and approaches. A quick learner who adapts and finds creative solutions when faced with novel challenges

Desirables:
• Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD workflows for analytics code
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management
• Experience designing reusable, scalable data products
• Exposure to MLOps practices such as feature engineering and model monitoring
