About the role
This internship position provides hands-on experience in leveraging data to derive insights, improve processes, and contribute to strategic business goals. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about data analytics, possesses strong analytical skills, and is eager to learn and grow in a real-world business environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis:
  • In collaboration with fellow data analysts, collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness using SQL, R, or Python.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers.
  •  Utilise statistical methods to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
 
  1. Data Visualization:
  • Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present data in an accessible and understandable format.
 
  1. Reporting:
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.
 
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to enhance data quality and accessibility.
 
  1. Research and Innovation:
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
  •  Propose innovative solutions and strategies to address business challenges using data.
Skills and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field or graduated in the last one year.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, SQL or Excel.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience with data cleaning, preparation, and ETL processes.
  • Experience or exposure to AI/ML projects is a plus.
