We are currently searching for a Data Engineer:
We are looking for a highly autonomous and proactive Data Engineer to take ownership of maintaining and improving our legacy data systems. This role is critical in ensuring the robustness, reliability, and efficiency of our existing infrastructure while proactively enhancing monitoring, alerting, and automation processes. If you thrive in solving complex problems and optimizing systems for long-term stability, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain existing data pipelines and systems.
- Enhance system monitoring and improve alerting mechanisms for automated workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets related to data processing and infrastructure.
- Optimize and improve system robustness through proactive debugging and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data reliability, security, and availability.
- Contribute to the development of testing frameworks and best practices for legacy systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data engineering, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing legacy systems.
- Solid foundations of Python and Scala for data processing.
- Proven experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure monitoring.
- Proficiency in GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and testing automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
