What we will challenge you to achieve
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation as a domain specialist for the design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products, applications, and solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams, vendors, and industry partners in assessing potential application of our products ensuring that optimum systems solutions are provided to new and existing customers.
- Craft, execute, and support technical sales plans and proposals (RFx) to expand Juniper’s market presence in a dynamic sales landscape.
- Design and deliver detailed, innovative network architectures and solutions, leading to the development of next-generation networks.
- Leverage exceptional industry and product expertise to influence customer technology strategies, showcasing Juniper technologies through sales presentations, demos, proof of concepts, and trials.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong professional relationships with customer IT decision-makers and industry partner community.
- Deliver training and support to our industry partners and customer engineers.
- Commit to ongoing learning to remain at the forefront of industry trends, competitive offerings, and technological advancements.

What you need to have
- The Sr. SE will partner with account managers and other SE team peers to find and build solutions for this top-tier Service Provider.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and related field or equivalent experience.
- Broad knowledge of the Telco and MSO business and technologies is essential.
- Deep knowledge of core routing, edge routing, access routing, backhaul routing, data center, virtualization, edge compute.
- Experience designing/engineering large-scale Telco/MSO MPLS/WAN, Data Center, Metro Ethernet solutions, as well as with Mobility (LTE/5G) and DOCSIS/DAA architectures.
- Knowledge of Juniper product line, key competitors, and vertical market use cases.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship, and communication skills with experience in customer-facing sales activities.
- Proven technical capability, with the ability to learn quickly and apply skills to new protocols and applications.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper Solutions.
What we would love you to have
- DevOps experience with automation using Python, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf and Ansible.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, GCP and Azure.
- JNCIE, CCIE, or other expert-level industry certification is desired.
