Data System Analyst, AI Product

Responsibilities:

• Drive innovation by proactively exploring, adopting, and testing novel AI technologies, using creative problem-solving to address business pain points while leveraging partnerships and market insights.

• Compute, analyze, and document AI model performance metrics while identifying and implementing strategies to enhance model accuracy and effectiveness.

• Motivate a cross-functional team of machine learning developers, engineers, and domain experts to achieve product milestones.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts in pre-clinical research, clinical trial design and operation, precision medicine, regulatory science, and CMC to achieve scientifically sound and high-quality simulation modeling and analytical solutions.

• Establish clear AI roadmaps and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the product life cycle.

• Promote AI adoption through creating intuitive computer system, developing effective training programs, and iterating based on feedback to maximize impact.

• Understand GSK's strategic and competitive position and deliver AI products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics, applied math, statistics or engineering

• Programming experience (R/SQL/Python) analyzing data sets and making decisions based on data.

• Experience of AI/ML model metrics (e.g., F1 and AI-contents evaluation metrics) including human-in-the-loop (HITL) AI/ML monitoring.

• Experience with prompt engineering techniques to improve solution accuracy.

• 3+ years of data analyst and product experience with domain specific expertise in AI/ML

• 2+ years’ experience in one or more life science R&D domain areas: pre-clinical research, clinical trial design and operation, precision medicine, regulatory science, chemistry, and manufacturing and controls (CMC).

• Experience in Agile tool kits such as JIRA or Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in full AI product lifecycle, including incorporating customer feedback into product requirements, prioritizing features, and overseeing both pre- and post-launch activities.

• Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, procurement, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones

• Proficiency in AI-based tools in market research, product requirement, and user research to enhance efficiency.

• Enthusiastic and resilient in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are key.

• Hands-on experience in databricks, Azure AI stack, or GCP AI stack.

• Hands-on experience with prompt programming such as DSPy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in technical presentations and team objective and milestone reporting
