Success in the Digital Solutions function requires fostering partnership, transparency, and alignment across markets and divisions, ensuring digital initiatives meet diverse needs of our clients in markets and divisions.

The Data Analytics manager acts as a strategic advisor to Thailand and Vietnam markets. By elevating the client data practice, unlocking complex problems, generating insights to shape tangible action plans, the role is a critical enabler to future-fit the business and seize growth opportunities across Fashion,Fragrance and Beauty, Watches and Jewellery divisions.

Impact You Can Create In The Role

Strategic Partnership & Collaboration:

  • Act as a catalyst and partner to the business teams across 3 divisions in 2 markets, with specific objectives and strategies

  • Foster a collaborative spirit and promote innovation and test and learn approach with agility, through market pilots

  • Ensure the highest standards of data privacy and security are met at all times

  • Elevate the client data and analytics practice, and advocate data-informed decision making


Steer client intelligence at the service of client activation:

  • Leverage advanced analytics models, international single client view, engagement and navigation data, demographics to better know and understand our clients

  • Elevate targeting strategies through sophisticated segmentations and predictive scoring models creation and continuous improvement

  • Establish a symbiotic relationship with digital service manager to push the boundaries of client activation and explore new channels and ways of working (Media 1st party data integration, LINE BC maximization, clienteling at scale)

  • Explore cross-division purchase paths to nourish client activation strategies

Identify growth opportunities

  • Formulate key strategic questions that can support the business growth ambition

  • Connect the dots through holistic studies using large volume of client data and complex queries

  • Generate insights to derive compelling stories and tangible action plans through comprehensive deep-dive studies (on purchase paths, client typologies, journeys)

  • Act as a strategic advisor to bring additional and elevated perspective to business teams

Support to the business teams and senior leadership:

  • Develop, design and maintain performance dashboards (clienteling and retailing)

  • Elevate and upskill divisional capabilities by fostering knowledge transfer and a community spirit

  • Monitor campaigns and automations performance (engagement and conversion metrics)

  • Respond to strategic ad hoc requests from senior leadership

  • Connecting and working with a wider community throughout SEAA and North Asia, leveraging best practices from other markets / regions

What You Will Bring

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, ability to cross check and cross reference various data sources

  • Successful track record in analytics for luxury retail or FMCG industry

  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI

  • An interest in innovation, AI, low code / no code automations

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate digital concepts, strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
