Summary
The Cost Down Business Analyst is a strategic role focused on driving cost efficiency and operational excellence. This position analyzes raw cost data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for savings, while also serving as a program or project manager to lead active cost-reduction initiatives. The analyst will facilitate workshops and conduct value stream mapping to streamline business processes and enhance organizational effectiveness. By combining data-driven insights with project leadership and process optimization expertise, this role delivers measurable financial and operational improvements.
Essential Functions
Key Performance Indicators
· Individual should build and maintain data models that analyze monthly cost and spend patterns. Should reach / achieve at least 80%+ of annual budgeted cost reductions through data-driven insights and implemented initiatives
· Individual should continuously manage and improve KPIs related to assigned organizational performance goals (i.e. cost, cash, quality, and delivery performance.) Also supports organizational performance for sustainability and ESG goals
· Individual should deliver measurable outcomes for assigned improvement projects / workshops and achieve strong favorable feedback ratings post-project completion
Essential Functions
Data Analysis:
· Collect and analyze data to understand current processes and identify areas for optimization
· Create and manage data models for analysis and visualization
· Create and distribute reports that enhance understanding of trends and patterns
Process Analysis:
· Be able to create and document process maps
· Create process maps, flowcharts, and documentation for various operational and leadership teams to visualize and understand workflows
· Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement within existing processes
· Be able to create reports on analysis, findings and potential recommendations
Collaborative Engagement:
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment on proposed changes
· As required, act a program manager to coordinate meetings, track and follow up on actions, and escalate challenges that would risk meeting project deadlines
· Independently or within a team setting, support the development and implementation of solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency, which may include automation, technology implementation, or process changes
· Monitor process performance, gather feedback, and make adjustments as needed to ensure the effectiveness of implemented changes
· Provide training and support to team members on new processes and best practices

Compliance and Sustainability:
· Ensure personal compliance with ethical, regulatory, and compliance regulations
· Ensure suppliers and service providers meet sustainability goals and requirements as outlined in the Supplier Code of Conduct
· Collaborate with suppliers to improve their sustainability performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Keeps abreast of the latest trends and activities within the marketplace for assigned tasks and projects, and generally across the supply chain and beverage market profession
· Knowledge of Supply Chain planning and factory scheduling techniques required
· Proficiency in leading project teams, collaborating broadly across organizations / regions, and influencing to create a culture of high performance
· Competencies / Skills with expected proficiency – Analytical, Problem-Solving, Communication, Interpersonal Relationships and Collaboration, Technical, Business Acumen, Leading [Project] Teams, Initiating Action, Work Standards, Creating a Culture of Trust, Emotional Intelligence, Guiding Team Success.
Education & Experience
· 3-7 years of professional experience, depending on seniority, in roles such as business analyst, financial analyst, process improvement specialist, or project manager
· Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline or suitable work experience required.· Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or data analytics certifications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) are highly valued.
· Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
· Excellent management and interpersonal skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Process improvement experience is required
· Self-motivated, with good project and resource management skills. Ability to work independently
· Ability to lead a project team; Ability to adapt to change
· ERP design or implementation experience is preferred
· Willing to travel regionally
· Able to develop analysis and visualization tools and guidelines
· Proficient PC Office applications; Familiar with systematic management tools.
Work Environment
· Ensure compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involved in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; report unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed
· As agreed with direct manager and other leadership, follow all work-from-home policies and procedures. Candidate is expected to be in the office the majority of the time to support team members
Physical Demands
· This role is primarily based in an office environment, with the majority of time spent working on a computer, participating in conference calls, or attending meetings
· Sitting, standing, walking, and bending as needed. Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 25 lb. with assistance. May have to reach for objects at or above shoulder height. May be required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones
· This role requires occasional travel, which may involve extended periods of sitting, standing, and carrying light luggage.
