We have an exciting opportunity for an Insights Manager with great passion for transforming data into actionable insights, and who wants to help drive business decisions and solve interesting real-world problems.

Retail Advanced Analytics & Data (RAAD) uses data and analytics to identify our customers’ needs and safely deliver insights, process improvement, customer contact journeys and innovative solutions to improve their financial wellbeing. We leverage data and innovative technology to deeply understand our customers and derive world-class insights to support commercial strategy and decision-making. We proactively uncover stakeholder needs and partner with channel, product, data and support teams to provide innovative, accurate and timely solutions to complex opportunities.

The Distribution Analytics Team’s primary role is creating and driving the analytical direction to support the broader Customer Service Network (CSN) team. The team works closely with all parts of CSN to develop and ensure that analytical insights and predictive analysis are leveraged in the creation of the strategic direction of CSN distribution channels (Branch, ATM and Bank@Post).

• Relevant experience in data analytics and insights, business analytics, business intelligence, modelling, or related area.

• Advanced experience using SQL on Teradata and Hadoop

• Visualisation experience using Tableau or PowerBI

• Hands-on experience with Python or R

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with good problem solving skills, as well as structured and logical thinking.

• Managed projects and ensure timely delivery of high quality deliverables.

• Good business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve problems.

• Ability to shape and drive business value by leveraging data, technical capabilities.

• Great team player with a positive outlook and ability to work effectively in a virtual team.

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment that is often ambiguous.

• Stay up to date with emerging trends in data analytics, data science and technology and share findings with team.

• Tertiary qualifications preferred.
