As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models, utilizing generative AI techniques, such as applying prompt engineering, working with RAG applications, fine-tuning LLM models using SFT/RLHF/RLAIF, generating synthetic datasets, deploying applications on Azure cloud platforms and publishing in top AI conferences. Your expertise in these areas will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and enhancing our business processes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems, leveraging a variety of algorithms and techniques.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques, build with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications, and fine-tune language models and improve their performance in specific tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with data science objectives.
- Utilize generative AI techniques to generate synthetic data, create realistic simulations, and enhance data analysis capabilities.
- Design and execute experiments to validate and optimize machine learning models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Deploy machine learning models and applications on cloud platforms like Azure ML or Databricks, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG applications, and cloud technologies. Apply them to enhance our data science capabilities.
- Publish work in top research conferences for Artificial Intelligence.
- Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to integrate data science solutions into existing systems and workflows.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and buy-in.
- Leverage extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced analytic methods and algorithms, understanding their utility in different problem domains (sparse data, rare event detection, etc.), evaluation methodologies and pitfalls.
- Innovate & find creative ways to source & leverage data to support modeling efforts, leveraging structured & unstructured data, and big data technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience or a combination of education and experience specifically in statistical/data analysis and data mining, natural language processing and deep learning.
- Advanced Experience in Python, R, Spark, SQL.
- Post grad in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline (MS with research work or PhD preferred with record of publications in top AI conferences, such as NeurIPS, ACL, KDD, ICLR, etc.)

HybridSalary range is expected to be between

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
