ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Corporate Data Strategy & Platform Manager with a strong background in Information Technology and expertise in Data Architecture and platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the data strategy for internal data platform, related initiatives, budget and resources. The candidate will analyze business processes, identify data-driven insights, and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and support decision-making processes. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture tools and methodologies, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will manage a team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve project goals.
RESPONSABILITIES
• Define the strategy for SICPA internal data platform, the underlying projects, budget and resources be successful.
• Design the data architecture for SICPA internal data platform to sustain the strategy.
• Translate complex business needs into strategic data initiatives, ensuring that platform capabilities support evolving organizational priorities.
• Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Drive the reliability and scalability of the enterprise data platform, ensuring continuous operations and proactive maintenance to support evolving business needs.
• Support Business to achieve their Data Governance Goals aligned with SICPA strategy.
• Provide strategic advisory on the adoption of AI and machine learning technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance business operations and create competitive advantage.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, translating insights into actionable strategies that advance the organization’s data capabilities.
PROFILE
• Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing data platform environment, Azure Data Architectures, MS SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into actionable data solutions, through analysis and comprehensive documentation of requirements.
• Leadership and coordination of agile teams for the development of new data architectures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
• Strong track record in data governance and quality management.
• Knowledge in SQL, Python.
• Knowledge in Microsoft data architecture and Power BI, Github.
• Knowledge in ERP processes and dataset is a plus (Sicpa’s ERP is SAP S4).
• Experience in Infrastructure as a Code deployment. DevOps management CI/CD is a plus.
• Experience in coordinating work with tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English.
