AI-powered document processing solutions that streamlines labor-intensive processes, reduces costs, and optimizes decision-making for law firms and insurance1. Hands-On Data Analysis & BI Development (Individual Contributor)
○ Design and develop dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
○ Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
○ Conduct in-depth analyses of product usage, user behavior, and model performance metrics, turning data into clear, actionable insights.
2. Team Mentoring
○ Mentor and develop a small team of data analysts/BI developers, providing guidance on best practices and career growth.
○ Foster a collaborative team culture that values learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
3. Analytics Strategy & Execution
○ Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and other teams to identify key analytics use cases, define success metrics, and track performance.
○ Develop and maintain a roadmap for analytics projects, balancing short-term requests with long-term strategic initiatives.
○ Champion a data-driven culture across the company, promoting the use of analytics tools and methodologies.
4. Data Infrastructure & Governance
○ Collaborate closely with Data Engineering to ensure the data warehouse and data pipelines are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
○ Advocate for and implement best practices in data quality, security, and governance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
○ Work with Finance to provide accurate usage data for billing and revenue operations.
○ Support Customer Success with ad-hoc analysis requests and custom reporting for key clients.
○ Partner with Product and Engineering teams to refine data collection and improve product analytics capabilities.
6. Stakeholder Communication
○ Present analyses, findings, and recommendations to leadership in both technical and non-technical terms.
○ Serve as the subject matter expert on analytics tools, methods, and data interpretation for internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
● Education:
○ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related).
● Experience:
○ 5+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence
○ 1+ years of experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity (formal or informal).
○ Hands-on experience building dashboards and writing complex SQL queries.
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for data visualization and dashboard development.
○ Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
○ Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
○ Nice-to-have: Experience with Python/R for advanced analytics or machine learning.
● Soft Skills:
○ Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex data findings into clear insights for varied audiences.
○ Strong leadership qualities, with a proven ability to mentor junior team members.
○ Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
