This position is responsible for, developing and implementing a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.  Will apply data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.  Will visualize, interpret, and report data findings.  Will also serve as the Plan Builder back up and will create, modify, and test code, forms, and scripts that will allow computer applications to run according to the client’s customized plan design.  Will understand and analyze the client’s needs and will design solutions that satisfy those needs and allow EBS to administer any line of business with unlimited flexibility and robust functionality utilizing the latest cloud-based technology. 
 SUPERVISORY/LEADERSHIP/COMMITTEE FUNCTION

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Lead Role – Provides technical expertise to others and/or provides input into hiring, firing and discipline.
Supervises employees (makes decisions regarding hiring, firing, discipline and performance evaluations) of a unit/department.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze, manipulate, or process large sets of data using statistical software. Apply feature selection algorithms to models predicting outcomes such as healthcare use. Clean and manipulate raw data using statistical software. Broad-based understanding of insurance products and services.
  General understanding of all aspects associated with a client’s insurance benefits as addressed in their Plan Document but not limited to:   Plan Language, Plan Docs, ERISA, DOL, HHS, ACA and IRS regulatory requirements and Costs associated with the benefits provided. 
  Improve efficiency and quality of services provided to clients.
