Data Analyst (m/w/d)

To strengthen our finance department at our headquarters in Ratingen, we are looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your Tasks:

• Data extraction, cleaning and modelling for various data sources (Accounting ERP, PBI Datasets, SQL, etc.)
• Create, maintain, and automate analytical output and visualizations in Power BI
• Develop advanced-level calculations on the data set for KPI dashboards in Power BI (with Dax Queries)
• Provide accurate and reliable data reporting and analytics support
• Installation, configuration, and monitoring of data warehouse (Snowflake)
• Optimize model performance (extraction, mining, and manipulation) of back-end database
• Provide analytical expertise on data models and recommend data-driven solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of our business model
• Work closely with the Controlling team and other Finance Departments
• Intercompany coordination with the international companies of the Verisure Group

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Data analysis or the completion of a comparable education
• 1-2 years of proven experience Data Analyst/BI related roles and in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power BI environment
• Proficient in SQL, Excel and Power BI
• Able to work independently and follow up tasks end-to-end
• Team spirit, flexibility, and a high level of commitment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Have a good command of the common MS Office products, especially advanced proficiency in Excel
• Good to have: SAP/Oracle knowledge, familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Strong analytical skills and accuracy whilst having the ability to see the bigger picture
• Ability to build relationships across the functions and work in a truly international environment
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• German - nice to have
