The Advanced Analytics team at Abacus is a close-knit group of ten skilled professionals who play a pivotal role within our wider Data, Analytics & AI function. We work cross-functionally with Digital, Business Development, Supply Chain, and more, driving innovation through collaborative problem-solving and rapid prototyping.

As our Advanced Analytics Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for developing innovative analytics solutions that address complex business challenges. You’ll work directly with commercial stakeholders to frame problems, develop solutions using Python and SQL, and validate their business impact. Daily, you will balance technical craftsmanship with pragmatic experimentation, driving projects that deliver measurable value.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Delivering analytics solutions, from ideation and discovery through to MVP delivery.
• Collaborating closely with business units to translate commercial challenges into impactful data solutions.
• Rapidly prototyping and refining solutions, using iteration as a path to innovation and learning.
• Communicating insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Sharing best practices and mentoring peers to foster a culture of continuous learning

You have proven technical and analytical skills, paired with a deep curiosity and drive to understand commercial challenges and offer data-driven solutions. You are comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and iterating rapidly to test solutions and assess against commercial success criteria. You care about both, the technical quality and commercial impact of your work, focus on delivering strong results and outcomes for your stakeholders, and collaborate effectively knowing when to take the lead and when to hand off. You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a pragmatic, learning-oriented mindset to experimentation.

In addition, your profile includes:

• A master’s degree with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering end-to-end data science or analytics initiatives in consulting, digital product development, or high-performing analytics teams.
• Fluency in Python and SQL for prototyping and developing robust analytical solutions.
• Strong business acumen, balancing innovation with pragmatic delivery
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
• A collaborative mindset capable of influencing and working with diverse stakeholders.
