Job Description Summary: Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data systems and solutions that drive our organization's data-driven initiatives. Your expertise in data architecture, database management, and software development will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data, as well as enabling advanced analytics and insights.

Operational Duties

  • This role will lead the design, development, and implementation of data systems and solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Advanced data modeling, database design, and optimization will be crucial in ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of data. 

  • Also, lead the development and maintenance of data pipeline processes, including the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from multiple sources.

  • Additionally, this role will develop and maintain data integration solutions to facilitate seamless data flow and information exchange between various systems and platforms. Implementing data governance strategies and practices will be essential to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.

Communication & Collaboration

  • As a Business Systems Developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand complex data requirements and translating them into technical specifications and system designs. 

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be necessary to identify and implement data-driven solutions to complex business challenges. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to support data analysis and decision-making at all levels of the organization. To excel in this role, it is crucial to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data management, data analytics, and data systems development.

Data Security Compliance

  • As a Business Systems Developer, continuous monitoring of security controls in organizational information systems is essential. Maintain proper documentation and records related to data security and compliance. This includes documenting security policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit reports.

  • Additionally, encouraging employees to promptly report safety concerns and providing them with a safe and anonymous reporting mechanism can help create a culture of safety

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field

  • At least two years experience in data analysis or data science

  • Previous experience in PowerBi required

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically

  • Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and tools, including ETL processes, APIs, and data pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of or a background in Finance or FP&A preferred
