The EverPro business within EverCommerce offers business management solutions that help home and field service small businesses work more efficiently and improve every touchpoint with their customers.  Software solutions customized for field services, landscaping, pest and lawn, remodeling and roofing help these businesses with everything from scheduling and tracking jobs, to quoting, invoicing and payments processing, to customer relationship, review and reputation management.  

The Invoicing vertical within EverPro focuses on business management and payments solutions for small service businesses through our Invoice Simple and Joist products. These solutions help service professionals efficiently manage their business finances, from creating estimates and invoices to processing payments and tracking jobs. Our products serve hundreds of thousands of freelancers, solo entrepreneurs and microbusinesses across hundreds of industries across multiple geographies. 

The Product Designer, Data Products will lead the design of data-driven features and capabilities for Invoice Simple and Joist, focusing on leveraging our extensive customer data to create value through profit intelligence, business insights, AI/ML capabilities and enhanced customer success features. This role combines product design expertise with knowledge on building ‘smart’ product features. We're looking for a user-centric designer who is comfortable with rapid change. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Data Product Design: 

  • Lead the design of profit intelligence features from basic reporting to AI-powered insights 

  • Work with cross functional partners on data quality improvement initiatives to design enhanced customer experiences 

  • Create deliverables such as competitive evaluations, low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, journey maps, storyboards 

  • Participate in Design Reviews and model best practices for giving and receiving feedback. 

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: 

  • Partner with Engineering to define technical implementation approaches 

  • Collaborate with Customer Research to validate product decisions 

  • Partner with Growth team to optimize customer lifecycle through data 

  • Communicate the results of UX activities to all involved stakeholders 

  • Innovation and Experimentation: 

  • Conduct solution validation and incorporate insights into design decisions to fulfill user and business needs 

  • Identify opportunities for AI/ML applications in our products 

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to measure feature impact 

  • Guide evolution of our design based on learnings 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years product design experience with focus on data products or analytics features 

  • Experience designing consumer-facing or business-facing products across multiple platforms 

  • Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, or AI/ML products 

  • Track record of shipping successful data-driven features 

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data concepts into user value 

  • Strong technical acumen and ability to work effectively with engineering teams 

  • Experience with financial or payments products preferred 

  • Portfolio required, showcasing data-driven design projects or relevant case studies. 

  • Proficient in Figma and component libraries.

Where: 

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in Vancouver or Toronto Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role will require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $114,000 - $125,000 CAD per year + annual bonus in most locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
