The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and an exceptional team player, responsible for designing robust, scalable, and secure automation solutions that seamlessly integrate RPA with advanced AI capabilities, complex enterprise systems, and BPM workflows. This role requires a blend of technical mastery, strong architectural vision, and excellent leadership skills to drive our automation initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership:

    • Define and drive the architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap for our enterprise RPA solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.

    • Architect and oversee the seamless integration of RPA solutions with Business Process Management (BPM) suites like Chorus/AWD, ensuring efficient workflow orchestration and end-to-end process automation

    • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end automation solutions using Blue Prism & Python, integrating seamlessly with various enterprise applications and data sources.

    • Design robust, scalable, and resilient RPA environments, considering factors like security, performance, disaster recovery, and high availability.

  • Technical Expertise & Integration:

    • Serve as the subject matter expert for Blue Prism architecture, best practices, and advanced features.

    • Architect and oversee the integration of Python-based scripts and libraries into RPA workflows for complex data manipulation, custom logic, and external system interactions.

    • Design and implement AI/Machine Learning components (e.g., NLP, OCR, intelligent document processing) within automation solutions, leveraging Python and other AI platforms.

    • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to define, deploy, and optimize the underlying infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, security) required for RPA and AI components.

    • Oversee the effective use of API calls for stable and efficient integration points, minimizing reliance on UI-based automation where possible.

  • Standards & Governance:

    • Establish and enforce architectural standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for RPA development and deployment.

    • Conduct regular architectural reviews and provide technical governance for all RPA and AI initiatives.

    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation COE (Center of Excellence) frameworks, methodologies, and tools.

  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

    • Act as a technical mentor and guide for RPA & Python developers and other technical teams, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

    • Collaborate closely with business analysts, process owners, project managers, and other IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

    • Promote a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4+ years specifically in RPA architecture.

  • Demonstrable expert-level proficiency in Blue Prism architecture, design, and development.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience integrating Python scripts into RPA workflows and developing custom automation components.

  • Strong understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies and principles (process modeling, execution, monitoring, optimization).

  • Hands-on experience with BPM Suites or Case Management platforms like Chorus/AWD, including workflow configuration, process orchestration, and form design.

  • Proven experience in designing and integrating AI/Machine Learning models (e.g., NLP, computer vision) into business processes.

  • Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure components (servers, networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, databases) and their impact on automation solutions.

  • Experience with API integration (RESTful, SOAP) and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).

  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.

  • Certifications in Blue Prism (e.g., Solution Architect, Technical Architect).

  • Experience with other RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for automation.

  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) related to RPA and AI deployments.
