About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Product Management Consultant for Wholesale Operations data products.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead Cross-Functional Data Initiatives – Lead complex data product efforts, including cross-functional initiatives with broad impact across Global Operations, with a focus on Wholesale Operations data needs.

  • Evaluate Strategic Data Projects – Review and analyze large-scale or long-term data product initiatives that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements, to drive data enablement strategies and align with governance standards.

  • Make Informed Data Decisions – Navigate complex, multi-faceted situations by applying a solid understanding of data, analytics, and integration needs to inform prioritization, roadmap planning, and architecture design, influencing broader teams to meet deliverables and launch new initiatives.

  • Collaborate Across Teams – Strategically collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid-to-senior managers to ensure data product solutions are optimized for performance, support analytics across platforms, resolve issues, and achieve business goals; may lead projects, teams, or mentor peers.

  • Guide Product Strategy – Provide strategic input on new use case intake, prioritization, and product roadmap definition, contributing to critical business processes and long-term planning.

  • Manage Consumer-Focused Datasets – Oversee complex datasets with continuous attention to the needs of data consumers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to data governance standards.

  • Develop and Maintain Roadmaps – Create and manage comprehensive data product roadmaps throughout the lifecycle, including detailed specifications, requirements, and data capability flows.

  • Design Innovative Data Products – Design and maintain forward-thinking data products that enable data availability for intelligence, analytics, and reporting across the organization.

  • Act as Strategic Liaison – Serve as a key connector between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture groups to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the data product lifecycle.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:  work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cross-Functional Leadership – Experience leading complex, cross-functional data product initiatives with broad impact, especially in Global or Wholesale Operations.

  • Strategic Analysis & Evaluation – Ability to assess large-scale or long-term data initiatives, considering multiple and novel factors to shape enablement strategies and ensure governance compliance.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Experience with curating data for consumption. Strong understanding of data, analytics, and integration needs to guide prioritization, architecture, and roadmap development in complex environments.

  • Collaborative Problem Solving – Proven ability to work with peers and senior leaders to design performant data solutions, resolve issues, and lead or mentor teams.

  • Product Strategy & Roadmapping – Experience in use case intake, prioritization, and defining product roadmaps aligned with business and technical goals.

  • Data Stewardship – Skilled in managing complex datasets with a focus on consumer needs and strict adherence to data governance and quality standards.

  • Lifecycle Management – Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed data product roadmaps, including specifications, requirements, and capability flows.

  • Innovative Product Design – Ability to design and maintain scalable, innovative data products that support analytics, intelligence, and reporting.

  • Cross-Team Communication – Effective liaison between data management, engineering, product, and architecture teams throughout the data product lifecycle.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $217,200.00
