Job Description:

As a Research Engineer, you will be involved in the design and development of simulation software and application. You will gain experience in system design, software development, machine learning (including deep learning), model evaluation.

Job Scope

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop discrete event simulation models (e.g., agent-based).
• Enhance the simulation model by incorporating machine learning technique.
• Conduct data analysis and interpretation to validate and optimize the models.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Document development process, including model design, implementation steps, and outcomes.
• Present findings and progress updates to the team.

Requirements:

• Current enrolment in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with simulation software and frameworks.
• Strong expertise in machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and ability to interpret and validate simulation results.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting complex concepts.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, capable of taking ownership of tasks and delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.
