Data Management Administrator

The University of Miami/UHealth department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Data Management Administrator to work in Hialeah, FL. The Data Management Administrator assists with the administration of the assigned department(s)’ database and analyzes database needs to suggest long-term strategy for data storage. Moreover, the Data Management Administrator participates in the development of policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitors database access.

• Develops data collection methods to gather information.

• Creates and maintains databases for evaluations, annual reports, research activity, financial summaries, enrollment, accomplishments and awards, and assessment activities.

• Analyzes and maintains quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate effectiveness.

• Monitors daily operations, development, and delivery of data management program content and services.

• Coordinates outreach efforts that may include presentations, workshops, and related activities required for the dissemination and reporting of data.

• Stays abreast of emerging technologies and new design approaches.

• Provides support and training to applicable staff regarding database management and use.

• Reviews data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to appropriate managing staff.

• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
