About the Opportunity

·         Reporting: You will report to a senior member of the software development team within Prescient’s India office

Roles and Responsibilities

Data Collection and Preprocessing:

·         Collect, clean and preprocess data from various sources for use in ML models

·         Perform exploratory data analysis to gain insights into the dataset and identify patterns

Model Development:

·         Assist in the development and implementation of ML algorithms and models

·         Conduct experiments to fine-tune model parameters and optimise performance metrics

·         Collaborate with team members to integrate ML solutions into existing systems

Evaluation and Testing:

·         Design and execute tests to evaluate the performance and robustness of ML models

·         Analyse experimental results and provide insights to improve model accuracy and efficiency

Required Experience and Skills:

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

·         One or more of the following educational degrees: bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer/data science or related field

·         Strong programming skills in Python or any other object-oriented programming language

·         Good to have: Knowledge of transformers, large language models and NLP techniques

·         Familiarity with ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and scikit-learn

·         Understanding of data structures, algorithms and statistical concepts

·         Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis using tools such as pandas and NumPy

·         Ability to analyse and solve problems with attention to detail

·         Effective communication and teamwork abilities
