Pure Storage’s Research and Development (R&D) Center in Prague has 650+ employees focused on cutting-edge innovation. The team plays a vital role in driving solutions for the as-a-service economy, tackling challenges like the surge in unstructured data and growing security threats like ransomware.

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

The Data Analyst within the Master Data Management (MDM) team will play a critical role in analyzing and improving data quality related to customer, product, and asset data. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working with complex datasets to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

  • Analyze customer, product, and asset datasets to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, and IT teams) to understand business requirements and define data standards and rules.
  • Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data standards, business rules, and data flows.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate data insights and quality metrics effectively.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for data improvement and recommend solutions to enhance data accuracy and business processes.
  • Support MDM implementation projects, data migrations, and integrations by providing data analysis expertise.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
  • Proven experience analyzing complex datasets 
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with data profiling and quality management tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) systems such as Informatica, SAP MDG,Reltio or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of data modeling and database structures.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project management practices.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
