ABOUT POSITION

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cloud Database Observability Service Developer to join our team of highly talented cloud database service developers.

She or he will focus on Hana Cloud service development and needs to understand overall service level indicators / objectives / agreements, quality requirements, corporate standards to be established as parts of cloud service development process. She or he communicates with other service development and management teams and deeply understand the architectural dependencies, behaviors and considerations for robustness and resiliency for insightful data visualization.

EXPECTED SKILL SETS

· Technical Skills:

o Expertise in programming languages like Python and Go.

o Expertise in building observability systems using OpenTelemetry

o Expertise in cloud service development such as microservice architecture, k8s, and SAP BTP

o Expertise in development of cloud database services such as HANA Cloud

o Expertise with cloud observability stack like Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, etc

o Expertise with cloud observability analysis tool like Grafana, Jaeger, etc

o Expertise in data access languages / interfaces like SQL, PromQL, OData, etc.

o Understanding of big data storage and processing technologies including Spark, Lakehouse, Delta sharing, etc.

o Experience with CI/CD platform like Github and Jenkins.

o Collaboration skills in multi-culture working environment in Europe, Asia, and North America.

o Detail-oriented and passionate about exploring new technologies.

o Strong problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication skills in Korean and English.

o Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional growth.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

· B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related field

· High proficiency in spoken and written English
