Trissential is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our client’s team. You’ll design and build resilient, scalable back‑end micro‑services that power cloud‑native, data‑centric applications supporting clinical, analytics, and machine learning workflows—directly benefiting patient care.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into reliable, scalable micro‑services using Go, Python, Java, or C#
• Develop data‑driven services leveraging data warehousing, big data, analytics, and machine learning
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps practices across CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate on architecture discussions with principals and architects
• Troubleshoot complex issues via root cause analysis and system investigation
• Mentor junior engineers and lead targeted cross‑team improvements
• Author and maintain code, documentation, and process materials

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with high‑level languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, C#, C++)
• Proficiency in building distributed, high‑availability systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote Agile setting

Bonus Points If You Have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in healthcare or clinical software development
• Familiarity with MongoDB, micro‑services, analytics ecosystems

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or Associate + 7 years of experience)
• Master’s preferred but not required
• Formal software engineering training or certifications a plus
