About the role
Plenful is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to develop and deploy ML models that drive positive patient outcomes in the healthcare industry. You’ll join a highly collaborative team and work cross-functionally with software engineers, and product teams to build scalable, production-ready AI use cases.
What we’re looking for
- Strong Python skills, including ML libraries (PyTorch, Transformers, etc.)
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and databases
- Experience developing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLMs (e.g., using LoRA, PEFT)
- Experience with traditional ML models (e.g., tree-based models, regression, clustering)
- Skilled in building ML/data pipelines and model evaluation workflows
- Comfortable with MLOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, CI/CD
- Experience deploying models in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of Big Data tech (Snowflake, Hadoop, Delta Lake)
- Familiar with prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG pipelines
- Prior startup or healthcare tech experience is a plus
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
