We are seeking a customer-focused Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning data into actionable insights, enjoys engaging with stakeholders, and is passionate about empowering others by helping them unlock analytics in their business while maintaining strong data governance.

  • Partner directly with business leaders and HR stakeholders to understand their challenges and deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, educating internal customers on analytics tools, data literacy, and best practices to empower self-service and data-informed thinking.
  • Guide business groups through their data journey—helping them identify, access, and leverage the data they need to better understand their operations and workforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that reflect true business performance and uncover key business drivers.
  • Apply predictive analytics techniques to anticipate trends, identify risks, and support proactive decision-making.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions to define business needs and translate them into effective reporting and visualization solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that solve real business problems.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate and streamline data processes.
  • Support and enhance data governance practices, including data quality, integrity, and stewardship across HR systems and processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues on interpreting data and applying analytical techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in analytics, data management, or business analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Excel.
  • Experience with OTBI Reporting tools is an asset.
  • Ability to explain complex data concepts in a clear and engaging way to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, innovative approach to analytics.
  • Background in statistics or Six Sigma is considered an asset.
