About the Role
Impact you will make
The RPA Engineer will be responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) systems in the healthcare revenue cycle using UIPath. The RPA Engineer role will work closely with RPA team colleagues and FinThrive internal and external clients to identify, document, and develop process automation to improve business efficiency and reduce client costs. The ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is critical, as this role is expected to comprehend and transform existing business processes, for FinThrive healthcare revenue cycle clients, into automated solutions within a short timeframe.
What you will do
• Design, develop, and test UIPath robotic process automation workflows
• Provide recommendations for integrating RPA solutions into enterprise applications and architectures
• Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
• Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
• Build and maintain UIPath component libraries that promote rapid bot development
• Consult on process definition documents and maintain technical documentation for RPA solutions
• Conduct internal testing and support user acceptance testing and implementation activities to ensure successful production bot deployment and go-live
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences in a variety of channels (written, oral, presentation) on technical, business process, and strategy topics
• Promote agile development practices by maintaining code libraries and doing rapid prototypes
• Ensure automation projects adhere to set standards and solution architecture
• Develop complex automation to support broader technology and business strategies
• Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes
What you will bring
• 3+ years of experience with UIPath specific RPA development
• Experience deploying RPA solutions to servers and cloud platforms, including bot credentialing, data security management, and process scheduling
• Experience with business process improvement, including process mapping and design-based thinking
• Experience developing RPA solutions that utilize OCR, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
• Quick learner with desire to stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Ability to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects
• Experience developing and consuming APIs
• Functional knowledge of Agile development and software development lifecycle management principles
• Experience with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Understanding of workflow-based logic
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Superior time and project management skills
• Skilled problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions
• Ability to work through ambiguous situations
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Visio, Power Point, PDF and Word
• Travel required: Minimal
What we would like to see
• 5+ years of experience with C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, APIs, Python, .Net Core
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience
• UiPath RPA Certified Advanced Developer strongly preferred
• Healthcare EDI experience including 837, 835, 278, 276/277 transactions
• Working with cloud environment is a plus (such as Azure and UIPath cloud)
