We are seeking a forward-thinking and technically adept Senior Oncology Business Intelligence Analyst to join the USON Pharmacy & Clinical Programs team. This fully remote role is pivotal in advancing our data strategy through the development and stewardship of analytics solutions that integrate clinical and operational data to drive oncology practice performance.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in healthcare analytics and data visualization, along with a demonstrated interest in leveraging AI-enhanced tools and intelligent automation to improve insight generation, streamline workflows, and elevate the user experience. This role offers the opportunity to grow AI capabilities while contributing to the development of innovative analytics solutions.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where technical peers may be limited. Success in this position requires initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to share knowledge openly to support team and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of analytics solutions using Power BI and other Microsoft technologies, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and enterprise strategies.

  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to translate business questions into data-driven solution proposals.

  • Maintain and evolve robust data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, Databricks, and Excel-based lookup tables; ensure data integrity through automated validation and cleansing routines.

  • Develop and maintain SQL-based semantic models to support scalable and reusable analytics solutions across teams.

  • Contribute to the team’s innovation efforts by identifying opportunities to incorporate automation and AI-enhanced features into analytics workflows.

  • Support a portfolio of analytics solutions, including but not limited to The Network MID Reporting Suite, adapting to evolving business needs.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, MIS, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Critical Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics or business intelligence, with demonstrated leadership in design and development of enterprise-grade reporting solutions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Azure Databricks

  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and semantic model development.

  • Strong understanding of oncology data, including EHR and pharmacy systems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team with limited technical peers, demonstrating initiative and self-direction in identifying and solving problems.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Python for data transformation and automation.

  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for documentation and agile project tracking.

  • Understanding McKesson’s data governance and protection standards.

Travel Requirements

Minimal, as required.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$110,300 - $183,800
