The Senior Manager, Data Strategy & Management Domain Lead will lead strategic and operational efforts to enable Gross-to-Net (GtN) insights across the Pfizer portfolio, working cross-functionally to support insight generation processes by supplying fit-for-purpose, high quality data assets and solutions. This highly collaborative role will serve as the data strategy lead for GtN insights and use cases, responsible for shaping and executing a data roadmap that supports and enables analytics teams on a range of strategic and tactical use cases.

This role will partner closely with key stakeholders across Data Strategy & Management (DSM), Performance Analytics & Insights (PAI), Finance, Digital, Global Access & Value (GAV) and third-party vendors to identify relevant data assets, drive data ingestion and transformation, establish governance, and enable scalable, automated solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong consultative mindset, commercial analytics domain expertise, and the ability to influence and drive innovation through agile, data-driven practices.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Enablement

  • Leverage deep domain expertise to define and drive the end-to-end data strategy for data enablement of GtN initiatives, aligned with commercial objectives

  • Partner with performance and secondary analytics teams, as well as external vendors, to define best approaches to drive meaningful insights, leveraging both internal and external data sources to produce analytics-ready datasets, considering all advantages and caveats of different data sources

  • Partner with Digital teams to guide ingestion and provisioning of data assets

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant by providing thought leadership to internal stakeholders including Integrated Insights Strategy (IIS), PAI, Data Science (DS), and business colleagues

Design & Prototyping

  • Collaborate with PAI to iteratively design, develop, test, refine, and validate prototypes of analytics-ready data assets, balancing speed with quality and long-term scalability and sustainability.

  • Translate complex GtN financial and business needs into clear, actionable data requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data tasks and improve the scalability and reliability of GtN analytics efforts

  • Partner with Digital and engineering teams to drive automation, scalability, and operational excellence in GtN data pipelines and environments.

Strategic domain leadership

  • Develop and clearly articulate a strategic point-of-view on data landscape and ecosystem relevant for GtN insights, demonstrating how data assets interconnect to support various analytic and operational use cases

  • Partner with the commercial & marketing analytics stakeholders to ensure consistency in sourcing, transformation and enablement of GtN data assets across all applicable initiatives and use cases

  • Establish and enforce data quality management practices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of GtN data assets

  • Monitor emerging industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to proactively inform future-state GtN data strategies.

Adaptability & Cross-functional leadership

  • Ensure continuous alignment with evolving business needs, ensuring data strategies and solutions remain fit-for-purpose to drive business impact

  • Drive establishment of effective ways of working with key partners and collaborators to ensure alignment, clarity of roles and responsibilities, efficiency of meetings/ceremonies and seamless handoffs

QUALIFICATIONS

 Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in data strategy, data management and/or commercial analytics, ideally in the biopharma or healthcare industry

  • Deep understanding of key data types/sources in commercial analytics, particularly data relevant to inform Gross-to-Net insights, financial forecasting, payer analytics, and/or contracting strategy

  • Robust knowledge of core data integration and data model design approaches

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning business and technical teams to deliver complex data solutions

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business needs and analytical approaches into data strategies and solutions

  • Experience with core analytical languages and tools (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Python, Tableau/Power BI, dbt).

Preferred:

  • Experience building scalable solutions spanning multiple brands, therapeutic areas and business units, leveraging synergies to maximize efficiency

  • Experience in partnering with Digital/IT functions to implement robust, production-level data solutions

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and data product management frameworks

  • Experience working with third-party data vendors in staff augmentation and/or project-based models

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,100.00 to $225,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
