The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. 

Your Tasks:

  • Consolidate and validate data from multiple sources (e.g. webshop, CRM, ERP)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to analyse business performance
  • Support modelling of patient journeys within the DTC webshop ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure data consistency and accuracy
  • Use programming and data modelling to extract actionable business insights
  • Integrate external data sources and APIs to identify trends and anomalies
  • Automate data workflows and build self-service analytics tools
  • Contribute to strategic data projects in an agile, cross-functional environment
  • Willing to work independently as well as collaborate with internal and external customers and IT partners

Your Qualification:

  • Relevant university degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline
  • Mandatory: Business expertise in the medical device field of at least 5-7 years
  • Mandatory: Minimum 5-7 years work experience with a track record in Data Integration: o Strong coding skills: VBA, DAX, PL/SQL, Python or R o Experience with Power BI (or Tableau) for data visualization o Solid knowledge of MSSQL and/or Oracle databases o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access o Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with advanced analytical modelling in a business context
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis
  • Ability to work in agile environments and communicate across teams
  • Experience applying analytics and data mining to real-world commercial problems
  • Exposure to media, consumer research, or digital analytics is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
