Job Description

Drive impactful financial outcomes through data science and become a key enabler of data-driven decision-making at LEGO. In this role, you'll be part of driving advanced analytics across the Finance Organization, integrating insights into strategic decisions. Location can be either Billund Campus or Copenhagen Løvstræde office. Please note we do not have relocation budget for this role.

Core Responsibilities

As an Advanced Analytics Manager, you will be instrumental in developing advanced analytics models to address complex financial challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying Analytics Opportunities: Collaborate with finance partners and the Advanced Analytics Lead to pinpoint data science opportunities that address business challenges with innovative, data-driven solutions.

  • Developing Advanced Analytics Models: Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics models, ensuring integration with existing data and digital platforms.

  • Supporting Strategic Decision-Making: Apply statistical models and techniques to analyze financial data, uncover trends, and predict future outcomes.

  • Project Leadership: Oversee analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable value delivery.

You will join the Corporate Finance, Systems, Analytics, and Insights team, responsible for the accuracy and quality of all data across the Finance organization, while driving our agenda to be more digital and data driven. We are committed to using data and AI to bring value for the finance organization. This is a highly visible role within the team and central to driving our transformation to becoming data-driven and elevating our decisions with advanced analytics across the finance organization.

Do you have what it takes?

We are seeking a curious and motivated Finance Data Scientist / Advanced Analytics Manager with a solid background in data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience with data science or data engineering, preferably with a master’s degree in data science/data engineering. In addition, they will have:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently when necessary.

  • Experience in project management and facilitating collaboration across teams

Nice to Have:

  • Finance domain knowledge, preferably with experience in Finance Data Science or Insights & Analytics or in finance partnering and FP&A roles
